A Note on the Portfolio
The structures shown here are drawn from the Impi Canvas family of luxury safari architecture — swan-neck tensile roofs, dark canvas walls, deep timber decks and stone hearths — the same language behind some of the world’s most quietly considered private camps.
The land beneath them is not imagined. Every plate is composed to the specific character of Warrior Rizen Ranch: six thousand five hundred acres of alpine meadow, aspen and pine, held high above Morgan Valley beneath the Wasatch Range.
These renderings are directional. Final siting, materials and detailing will be developed with Impi Canvas in the design phase.

Plate II · The Canyon Rim
West rim · above the aspen basins

A cantilevered deck reaches over the canyon lip — copper soaking tub, stone shower and lantern light held against the blue hour.
Plate III · The Suite
Interior study · Meadow suite

Timber trusses, wool and linen, a wood stove humming — canvas doors folded open to the range at daybreak.
Plate IV · The Encampment
Ridgeline · Aerial study

Suites strung along the ridgeline in the aspen and pine, gathering toward a central pavilion — horses in the meadow below, valley opening beyond.
Plate V · The Pavilion
Central pavilion · Sunset

The central pavilion at dusk — long timber table under tensile canvas, candelabra and lantern light held against the last fire on the peaks.
Plate VI · The Aspen Camp
East grove · Upland season

A single suite tucked into a stand of gold aspens — a side-by-side and a setter waiting on the deck for the morning walk.
The Encampment
“A place should feel found, not built. Canvas, timber and stone — held lightly on the land.”
